Changes To My Study Programme

Hello once again everyone! Hope you had a nice week.

Today i will talk about the changes that i would make in the studyprogram og the architecture career at the university of Chile. 

I think that i would not make important changes in the curriculum since the proposed courses seem interesting to me, but something that need a changes is the way to select the courses for each student, since many times it has happened to me that they do not give me courses that i need according to the curriculum, despite not having failed any, sometimes it´s because some students are give more courses than they need, leaving others without the ones that they need.

Other changes that it would make is the number of hours of work, normally the hours in the classrooms are not that many, but the hours that one dedicates to classes in their free time is much greater, especially after the pandemic, since they deliver more individual and group work, this generates that we have many hours dedicated to study, leaving very little free time.

In the faculty facilities i think i would chage several things, first i would organize the dining room in a better way as well as clean it since it´s a rather dirty space due to the pigeons. I would add more rest spaces and more green areas to be able to have more leisure spaces.

Regarding teaching methods, i think it´s interesting that it´s so varied, but i think that i would change the way some teachers express themselves, who are very hurtful when it comes to correcting work.
